ACLU of Michigan Executive Director Kary Moss on Sunday issued the following statement in reaction to the masscre at a popular gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., on Sunday morning:
"There are no words for a tragedy of this magnitude. Our hearts are with the victims, their families and the LGBT community. We pledge to keep working to confront ignorance and intolerance and will know we have made a step forward when our legislature finally steps forward as the leaders they should be and gives this community full legal protections."
