DETROIT—Hoping to eliminate confusion at the ballot box in November, the ACLU of Michigan on Monday kicked off its "Let Me Vote 2016" campaign to provide voting-rights information to communities, organizations and individuals across the state. Campaign materials are available at www.aclumich.org/letmevote.

Campaign to Ensure Equal Voting Rights for All Citizens

The ACLU of Michigan has spent decades working to challenge regressive voting policies, protect the rights of college students and stand up to intimidating efforts to purge voter rolls. We also work to make sure that each vote counts by opposing voter suppression efforts and seeking to repeal or limit a state “emergency manager” law that has been used to strip voting power from many in Michigan, especially communities of color.
