Izabella joined the ACLU of Michigan in October of 2022 as their Clerk Engagement Organizer for Central Michigan. Her next two years with the organization will be dedicated to establishing relationships between municipal forms of government and the communities they represent.

Getting her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, allowed her to spend much of her undergrad time on the campaign trail for numerous, successful, statewide campaigns. Gaining valuable experience on the importance of connecting with voters and making sure their voices are heard. While this is her main priority, it has never stopped her from digging in deep at the ACLU and giving a hand where needed, such as advocating for the Reproductive Freedom For All (RFFA) campaign and joining the Heritage Committee.

When she isn’t defending democracy, Izabella, can be found serving on the board of Diverstories, a non-profit rooted in strengthening community access to BIPOC and LGBTIA literature. She can also be found deep in the aisles of the nearest bookstore, going to concerts, and dropping the new hobby she picked up last week.
