Federal Appeals Court Strikes Down Michigan's Anti-Begging Statute as Unconstitutional
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In a victory for free speech, the federal court of appeals ruled unanimously today that Michigan’s state law criminalizing peaceful panhandling in all public places is unconstitutional.
